Stories for Indian families in the United Kingdom

Hindi, Telugu and Kannada stories for Indian families in the UK, fitted to early winter bedtimes and an English school week.

British winter makes bedtime obvious: it is dark before you have found the book. That is an advantage if you use it. A story in Hindi, Telugu or Kannada can sit in the dark without a bright feed. Summer is the harder season, because the light says 'not yet' and the tablet agrees.

School English, home language

The school week will not maintain your home language for you. Some families have a weekend class. Keep it if it is kind. Cover the other evenings with something small: two or three stories, questions asked out loud, then stop. Read mother tongue beside English before you design a chart.

Hey Minie is for ages 3 to 10. Minie is a brown myna. The child does not need to read. Voice questions are part of the product. Parents have a fingerprint-locked section. There is no published price on this site and no claim about how many UK families use it.

Questions parents ask

Is the content written for British schools?

No. It is a voice story in four languages, not a Key Stage curriculum.

Do grandparents on a different clock still matter?

Yes. Call when you can. A story covers the nights when India is asleep. It does not replace the call.
